### What is the Pingpay API?

The Pingpay API provides a unified, chain-abstracted interface for creating and executing crypto payments across multiple blockchains and fiat currencies. It is designed to support both simple hosted checkout flows and advanced programmatic payments; allowing developers to integrate Pingpay in a way which fits their produce use cases.\
\
At a high level, the API enables you to:

* Create and manage hosted checkout sessions
* Prepare, submit and track programmatic payments
* Accept payments across multiple blockchains and fiat currencies
* Support integrations across a wide range of products and payment setups
* Build payment flows without locking into a single blockchain or provider

The full, up-to-date OpenAPI specification and API Reference for the Pingpay API is available at: <https://pay.pingpay.io/api> and an example checkout repository is available at: <https://github.com/Pingpayio/ping-checkout-example>
